Defocus Aberration is a narrative short exploring identity, social belonging and the experience of immigration.

Its protagonist moves between recorded images, hallucination and physical reality. Memory is no longer a stable recollection of the past, but a collection of fragments continuously entering the present. Through repetition, temporal discontinuity, displaced sound and visual fragmentation, the editing transforms the character’s psychological experience into a physical mode of viewing.
